Toys "R" Us continues to amaze with their enthusiasm and generosity to Children's Miracle Network year over year, raising over $3 million since 1998. By focusing their energy, passion and talent on their spring Miracle Balloon campaign, Toys "R" Us has been able to raise an impressive amount of money through their network of 67 stores across Canada. In-store goals, simplifying “the ask” and a friendly competition amongst the stores are the keys to their success each year. In 2008, Toys "R" Us raised over $666,000 for Children's Miracle Network, the most they have raised in their 11-year history of supporting children’s hospitals around the country. In 2009, they will launch an innovative new virtual balloon campaign on their website that will enable their customers to support Children's Miracle Network even if they don’t live near one of their bricks-and-mortar stores. This campaign runs concurrently with their in-store campaign in the months of April and May and will be a powerful new tool to raise funds and awareness for Children's Miracle Network.
