Free flights, lots of help and dreams come true. That's what Air Canada Kids' Horizons is all about. The primary focus of the program is the enhancement of the quality of life of Canadian children, youth and their families. Amidst the turbulence of the past years, Air Canada has continued their long-standing partnership with organizations that make a difference in children’s lives – including Children’s Miracle Network. A strong supporter since 1994, Air Canada Kids’ Horizons provide thousands of flights for families and kids by allocating over 20 million Aeroplan Miles to the Hospital Transportation program – getting patients and families to the care they need. In addition, they have donated millions of Aeroplan Miles to Children’s Miracle Network operations, enabling staff and Hospital Foundations to travel to important events and meetings – keeping extensive travel costs down. Air Canada customers also support Children's Miracle Network through their Every Bit Counts Program. Air Canada flight attendants invite customers to donate foreign currency on international flights. And now, as travelers walk through Terminal One at Lester B. Pearson International Airport and Jean Lesage International Airport in Quebec City, they see kid-friendly coin globes that they can make donations in all foreign currencies. These globes support hospitals from coast-to-coast. Finally, each year Air Canada provides fundraising tickets to events across Canada – generating tens of thousands of dollars to hospitals and foundations. Air Canada continues to put children and their families at the top of their priority list as they look for unique opportunities to give. www.aircanada.com
